First grocery shopping trip

How old was LO first time you went to the grocery store or another public place? Besides the doctor, lol

    5 days old to grocery store.  I carried her so no one could see her or get near her.  she went to church at 1 week.  once again, no one was allowed to hold her.

    DH and I did the grocery at 9 days. My mom and I went to Target at 12 days. She has been several other places since. No one has touched her but she does get attention!

    Today was first trip to the grocery store, and to the mall.  I don't think DD is aware she left the house.

    He was about a week old when we took him to target for the first time.
    Baby Boy Born 3.15.11. 8lb 9oz, 21.75in. 6 month stats: 20lb 11oz (92%tile), 30.12in.(100%tile - who knew it went over 99th? Which means 100% of other 6 month olds are shorter than mine!)

    We took DD out after about a week. She normally sleeps the whole time. We made the mistake of going to the grocery store during her fussy time in the evening. We were hoping she'd fall asleep in the car like she usually does. Ha. Big mistake!

    DS was a week old when we took him out for the first time. Every time we take him out, we put a blanket over his carseat so no one can see or touch him. People have been good about leaving us alone. Although, yesterday we were on the elevator going to the pediatrician and some weird lady made us show him to her. She kept saying, "I can't see him, hint hint." It was weird. Anyways, if you keep LO covered up, people seem to get the idea to leave it alone.

    Me and my Mom took my girls out in public for the first time yesterday, they are two months old.  I had preemies, so I was advised not to take them out until they were a little older.  Plus I have two, so idk if I am ready to take them out by myself yet!
