I found out today that I only have to pay 20% for a breast pump with my insurance! I won't get one until I know for sure that all is working correctly once the LO arrives but wanted to get your opinion on which one you like the best. I'm leaning toward a Medela. I will be returning to work after 12 weeks and ease is the key to keep pumping once I go back. Thanks for your help!
Re: Breast Pump Help
I BF for 19 months and pumped for a full school year (I am a teacher). I used an Ameda double electric and it worked great, according to my LC it is basically the same as Medela and the owner of Ameda started Medela along with its current owner.
She said basically Medela does more advertising and it raises prices. PS - 20% is great! Either would work fantastic I am sure. Good luck!

Ditto. I used a PISA with Jocelyn and I'm SO glad I upgraded to the Freestyle this time around. It's great to use at work because I can still do so much while pumping. I use a Pumpease band which really makes it hands-free for me (I found the straps that come with it difficult to use). I think it really depends how you will be using your pump though. But, if you want/need something that will allow you to pump anywhere while basically doing anything, the Freestyle is awesome.
