What temperature to you keep LOs room at during sleep??

Just curious because we have been keeping our daughter's at 72 and just got another astronomical oil bill. So obviosly i want her to be warm enough, she doesnt sleep with a blanket but i guess im gonna have stop being nervous about her sleeping with one and put one in her crib.

 Thanks :)

  • About 68 degrees...he sleeps with long sleeves, pants, socks and uses a blanket. He is definitely warm enough and sometimes still wakes up sweating.

  • The same temperature as the rest of the house. Somewhere between 20-22 C (sorry...I don't do F...). Have you tried sleep sacks? We love them. DS doesn't really get the concept of a blanket & always ended up sleeping on top of it, kind of cuddling with it. Sleep sacks are great!

  • We hold our house at 68 overnight during the winter. DS sleeps in pant and long sleeve shirt jammies without socks because he will just take them off anyway and no blanket. He always wakes up warm but not sweaty.

  • Our goal is 73, but sometimes it's as low as 69.  We sleep better with the a/c on, so we keep her in long sleeves and pants.  She has a couple blankets in there, but she never keeps them on.

  • You're going to think this is crazy but DS's room is usually in the 50's at night. Anywhere between 54 and 59. During the day it only gets up to 65. We have a very old home that doesn't heat well upstairs. He sleeps in fleece pj's and a few blankets. He actually prefers it cold, though. We tried putting a space heater in there and he absolutely hated it and didn't sleep at all....LOL. Guess he's used to the Vermont winters!
  • Between 68-72.  It just depends on the rest of the house and how warm/cold it is outside.  He sleeps in long cotton PJs with a blanket that he usually uses as a pillow, and I put a heavy blanket on him before we go to sleep.

  • spring/summer 72, winter 74. BUT our thermostat is in the hallway and it is always warmer in the hall than in their rooms.
