Raleigh Family Doctor Recs

Does anyone have a really good family doc in the Raleigh area you can recommend? Thankfully when I have been the most sick I have been pregnant and just went to my OB for everything. But now that I am not pregnant anymore and won't be ever again ::sniff:: I guess it's time to find a doctor.

Re: Raleigh Family Doctor Recs

  • We go to Blue Ridge Family Physicians. Its ok - they take forever to answer the phone, the wait times are usually at least 10 minutes. I like the office, its organized and seems to move fast. Its a big practice. I like Dr. Hammer and Brooke the PA, DH usually sees Jason, a PA. They also have Labcorp in their office so they can easily to lab work.

  • I used to go to Dr. James at Raleigh Adult Medicine on Blue Ridge. I was happy with her, and the office for the most part. I only stopped going because I got on as a primary patient at DH's healthcare center at work. Otherwise, I'd still go to her.

  • another vote for blue ridge family....can always get a same day appt even for well visits!!
  • I go to Dr. Bommareddi at Capital Family Physicians across from Rex.  I've only been sick a few times and needed to get in and always got a same day appointment.  Wait times have always been less than 10 min.  I like the nurse, the doctor and the desk staff.
  • We've moved to Clayton so we're finding a new ped, but here's an adult vote for Dr. Hammer at Blue Ridge, he's still my regular physician and has been for years!  DH sees Dr. Huang bc he specializes in adult ADHD and is always quick and efficient, which works for those with little attention span :D
