Mini pill TMI

Is anybody else taking the mini pill?  I started it last Wednesday after my 6 wk appt and my doctor warned me that I would likely not have a period especially as I'm EBF.  Anyway, I stopped bleeding ~2 weeks ago and have just been having a little white/yellow mucusy discharge, however today I've been having some pink discharge/mild spotting.  I'm pretty compulsive about timing of the pills, so haven't been late with them, which I would think could cause it. 

Did anybody else have this when they started the mini-pill?  I know it's a possibility, just trying to assess if it's common and decide when to ask my doctor for something else since I think this really is the best option for us right now.  Thanks for the info...

    I just started the mini-pill yesterday.  I stopped bleeding 3 weeks ago and like you have just been having a little discharge.  So far nothing has changed and hopefully it won't, I don't think I'll mind not having to deal with my period for a while longer.  My Dr. said the same thing about probably not having periods but when I was skimming the information that came with my perscription it says you "you may or may not get your period, it maybe be lighter or heavier, longer or shorter  and _____" (I can't remember the last thing it said)  so basically these people have no clue what will happen. lol

    I have been taking the mini pill for 3 weeks now and EBF. I have not had any of the issues you have described, but I have had off and on cramps for the whole time and my skin has broken out. Grrr. Unfortunately its my only option for BC right now since my insurance wont cover the IUD.

    It's a progesterone only birth control.  It has a slightly lower (97 vs 99%) effective rate than more traditional birth control, but it isn't supposed to interfere with your milk supply.

    This. But when combined with EBF it is nearly 99.9% effective.

    I started last Wednesday also! Just today I actually started spotting!  I know its not my period because I have no other symptoms.  My dr warned me that spotting can happen within the first few weeks.  Also, sounds weird but a couple days of taking the pill my supply doubled!!!  ( I pump )

    I started it a week ago.  I stopped bleeding about 6-7 wks ago when I was about 2wks pp.  so far I've had no spotting/bleeding etc.

    I started taking the mini pill at 7 weeks pp and by the end of that week I started spotting and got what seemed like a light period for 4 days. I called my ob and they said to take the pill at the same time everyday and if it happens again then call them. A few nights I did take the pill 1-2 hours apart but now I have been taking it at exactly the same time. Before I started bleeding I also felt reallly moody and irritated like I was pmsing... not fun for DH lol
