I'm in a mood. My car battery died while I was at the recycling bins (we don't have curbside so we have to drop it off). No one was there when I got there, so I pulled up and parked right in front of it, blocking off the whole dang thing. I have all three kids with me and the car won't start. Then I realize I left my phone at home.

Of course it starts to get busy and I'm in the way. Noone let's me borrow their cell, or has jumper cables. So, I load the kids into the stroller and walk to the nearest place...a butcher shop. They won't let me use the phone without making a purchase, so I get three peperoni sticks, which I don't even want. Then, they tell me they can't take debit on such a small purchase! GRRR! So, I end up with 6 german sausages and the pepperoni, none of which I want, but I wasn't about to buy a $40 roast, or walk to the next place to use the phone.

I call dh and he came to my rescue, an hour and a half later. Oh my word. Sitting in my car, totally in the way, with three cranky tired kids is not fun!

I cannot believe no one would let a women with 3 kids use their phone. If they were that worried about you taking their phone why wouldn't they at least make the call for you.

I would have been so mad at the butcher shop, some people.

Me either! To be fair, all the people at the recycling thing were elderly adn possibly didn't have phones anyway. The butcher shop though, grr! They made me so mad!
