Hey Ladies-
Im hoping that you can help me. My DS all of a sudden hates to take the bottle? We started solids about 1 month ago and this just started this past week. I thought that it could be due to teething but he is okay at other times just when we go to give him a bottle. He starts to have a fit and wants to hold the bottle. We have tried letting him but he doesnt have the hang of it and just pushes it away.
we have tired other formula and no result and now are trying new bottles but not having a ton of luck. ANY HELP?
Re: Why wont he take a bottle?
Yep, we have tried medium and fast in both bypes of bottles the medium is a little slow but the fast is way to fast for him. He starts to cough. I think that in a few weeks fast might be okay.
i recommend this all the time so sorry if i'm being repetitive but i can't stress enough how easily my ebf daughter took to her doidy cup. she refused bottles and the couple of times she drank from them she would choke but when i gave her the doidy she immediately knew what to do and how to drink from it.
now she likes drinking from a cup as much as nursing. i also love that she won't ever have to go through with the bottle/ sippy cup transition stages and it's just one easy thing to clean. at the very least, it's cheap and worth a try. here's a post with more info and the links.
good luck!
