The other day i posted this on the Shower message board, but figured it could go here also.
We received a gift from Ball One, it is a customized stitched baseball with blue or pink thread. Parents are supposed to have the footprints put on the ball either at the hospital or at home (they offer non-toxic ink pads, which my girlfriend said came off the baby with water/soap)
My husband loved it and insisted this our goto gift for some of his friends. While it is custom (it also comes with a code to order a free name plaque), it is on the cheaper side. I think it is under $30, if i recall correctly. But this could easily sell for alot more in those fancy baby shops. (not sure if they are in the stores yet or if this is just a good website price)
I sent a few of these to some friends and 1 i had wrapped with a card. It was craft paper with footprints on it and the card which was free was a pastel color with footprints on it and the message was typed out. (really cute)
It seems like a small company, so I enjoy helping the 'little guy' as my husband works at a small company and is having trouble competeing with the 'walmarts' of the world.

I just wish it was a bit more team specific......I know it says the plaque is done in team colors but some teams have the same colors. Other than that, I like!!!
Yeah that is true some teams do have very similar colors (reds, phillies, angels). I guess they cant do logos bc of some copyright.
But I assume if people know who you are a fan of they will realize, "oh those are RedSox colors or Phillies colors etc."
Who knows, i think its fine without the plaque also. I just love the stitching!
