Forgot how long

in Pregnant after 35
the first tri can seem.  I don't see the dr for another 3.5 weeks and I think I'm going to drive myself batty with "is the baby still there?", "is the baby doing okay?", "are there any chromosomal issues?" and so on until I at least see a heartbeat and make it past the first tri screen.  :::self-indulgent sigh here:::

    I completely understand! I already had my first u/s at 10 weeks and Im still driving myself batty with the same thoughts. Glad to know its normal. When does it go away? :(

    ladybug...for me it didn't end until I started feeling her kick on a consistent basis.  Until that point I was always worried in between doctor's appointments that something had gone wrong and I'd lost the baby without knowing it.  I still worry that something could go wrong, but it's very reassuring every time I feel her move.

    This is my first and after IF so I totally feel you on that. My first appt is a month from tomorrow and I am dying here. I wish I could shake this worry and paranoia.

    I know just how you feel!  Each time after I've seen the baby on u/s I think "ok, now I can relax knowing it's still there and doing fine" and that lasts for a few days but then I start to wonder and worry all over again.  I'm really trying to not give into the worry because I want to enjoy my pregnancy to the fullest, but I think it's natural to worry, in the first trimester especially.
