Were you right about the gender?

So..we won't find out the sex for another 4 weeks but ever since we found out I was pregnant, my fiance and I are convinced it's a boy. My whole family thinks so as well.

For those of you who had a very STRONG feeling about the gender of your baby, were you right? Confused

My whole family (besides Dad) thought girl. I had boy dreams, felt boy, and actually got very upset when my Mom said she hopes its a girl bc of the clothes. I already felt like she was attacking my son, lol (actually this is when I began to truly think it was a boy). My Hubby thought girl, bc of NT scan guess. It's a boy!!! So go with your own gut (I read it's the most accuarate, 70%). GL!

Nope... with both my last two I really thought they were boys and they were both girls.

With DD I was right and this time I knew right off that it was a boy, just had a big gut feeling that turned out right. Oh, and all the old wives tales were wrong this time. They said it would be a girl and it's a boy

Yes, with my DD. I have no inclination either way with this LO. Most days I think it's a boy, though.

I had a gut feeling right away that we were having a girl. I didn't prefer girl or boy, but whenever I thought about the baby, it was a girl, it was almost like having a boy wasn't even a viable option in my head. The Chinese Gender chart was worng for us, but the heart rate test was accurate for us and several people we know. The say a girl will have a higher heart rate and our's was 177, and our neighbor, who is having a boy, started out at 150 (she also has a little girl, and her heart rate as a baby was in the 170's).

DH was convinced we were having a boy. Everyone else, including me ( I had a feeling that I would have a girl first for a very long time), were positive it would be a girl. DH was right, it's a boy.

all of the wive's tales told me it would be a girl too.

We were wrong! LOL I had boy dreams, all of the OWTs pointed to boy, and all of our family said boy... We are Team Pink LOL The u/s tech didn't even hesitate, she said "That's a girl!" We were in shock Wink

But we are very excited about our princess (as DH calls her).

I would've bet thousands of dollars on the fact that this baby is a boy. All the OWTs pointed to a boy, low heartrate, multiple dreams baby was a boy. I was dead wrong and shocked to find out it was a girl!

I knew he was a boy from day 1. As for OWT and the Chinese gender chart, they were all wrong. His h/r at 9 weeks was 173. My nephew was the same way. So, I suggest you put little stock in OWT as they're really only right 50% of the time, just like everyone else's guesses.

A few of my friends and some of DH's family thought it was going to be a baby boy. Even I thought for sure I was pregnant with a boy (DH wanted a boy and was hoping for one). Turns out that my "mother's intuition" was way off because we're having a girl. LOL.

This is my second pregnancy, my first was a girl. I KNEW from the time I was around 6 weeks that this one was a boy. I had the same cravings that I did with DD, but I just felt different! I told the u/s tech the day of our anatomy scan that she didn't even need to tell me, I knew he was a boy and he sure was alllll boy!

I was right for our first, which was a boy. DH was right about both of them, we have two boys. He's pretty much set that this one is a girl.

I don't have a strong feeling one way or another this time. Sometimes I think boy, other times I think girl. We'll see in 5 weeks.

nope -wrong-o! DH and i were convinced #2 was a girl, so were my parents. #2 is another boy. my pregnancy was a lot different the first tri- felt awesome first time around, this time, not so much, skin's been different, etc. and i just had a feeling. well, so much for that!

I was 100% positive it was a boy from the moment the pregnancy test was positive. Everyone else said girl since I had such bad morning sickness, but I was convinced. And it's a BOY! Mother's intuition Big Smile

With DD I was right, even though everyone said she was a boy. When I saw the positive on the pregnancy test, my first thought was "it's a girl" even before I thought "I'm pregnant." Not so sure this time. I'm leaning towards boy, but I didn't have that strong feeling this time.

We were dead on. I had (and still have) no idea why, but I just assumed it was a boy. I know it sounds crazy because there was just as much chance that it could've been a girl, but I never looked at girl clothes, names, or bedding, always boy stuff. And we were right!

I wanted a girl more than anything when i found out I was prg. even though I was hoping for one, I knew since day one that It was a boy... and after several u/s we are for sure that he is a he!

Its funny actually, I had the u/s at a Maternal Fetal Specialists, so my OB didnt do it, when I saw him for my check up and told him the news, well he checked the HB and disagreed lol.. he said from the rate it was a girl, I had to convince him with pics lol

Nope. I really thought (and kinda hoping) it was a boy...and the gender "predictors" all said boy. I even did the "draino" test and that said boy. But - alas I have a little girly in my belly!

I was not right. Since the first day I found out I was pregnant I just knew it was a boy. It was a boy, boy, boy! A couple days ago I went for my ultrasound and found out it was a girl. As soon as the ultrasound tech put the doppler on my stomach you could see her lady parts. DH asked the ultrasound tech how sure she was it is a girl she said 110%. Good luck!!!! I hope you have a wonderful pregnancy!

The majority of us (my family & me, not DH or his mom) thought girl. Sure enough there she was on the screen - two times and we saw three little lines! I changed my mind once when I was preparing myself in case it was a boy I wanted to be just as excited. So I planned the nursery for a boy and loved the idea. But I still strongly felt girl, girl, girl everyday all day.

I've had mulitple dreams of a baby boy. I'm about 90% sure it will be. Though DH and I have already come up with the perfect girl name, I'm dreading having to figure out a boy name. But I'll be overjoyed with either gender!
