Intro - siggy pic warning/mc mentioned
Hi all,
First off, I'm so sorry everyone is here, but am glad there is a board where we can all connect, support and help each other out. Wanted to post and formally say "hi". I had a miscarriage on 3/19 at 8 weeks 6 days and have been posting over at the mc/loss board. We've been given the approval to start TTC again after my next period, so I think it's time I move over here. I've a frequent poster on the parenting after 35 board and the swap spot, so some of you may have seen me around.
A little bit of background about me - I'm 39 and have two kids (18 year old boy and 15 month old girl). My SO is 43 and this was our first miscarriage. We had gone in for an ultrasound as my uterus was measuring a week or two larger and discovered that the baby had no hearbeat. We did the misoprostol (sp?) miscarriage and am now just waiting for AF to come. We feel like we need to start again ASAP due to our ages. It took us 9 months to conceive our little girl and 6 months to conceive the last baby, so time is of the essence. So far, we haven't done any IVF, but I've been trying to temp and chart in order to cut down the process. It is tougher than it looks. My pregancy with our daughter was rough, so I will admit I'm really nervous about what to expect.
I know my age has a lot do to with our troubles, so I may belong over on the TTC after 35 board. But I've really enjoyed the feel and support that I've noticed on this board. If I don't belong here, please let me know (no hard feelings will be had).
Thank you to whomever created the info board for newbies and lurkers. I'm still exploring it but wanted to make sure I read correctly that I do not need to post (siggy warning) each time. I don't want to hurt anyone, so please let me know. And if I missed saying something, please let me know.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Welcome and it's not necessary for you to place a siggy warning every time you post. I think some ladies only do that if they have a pg ticker. I hope your stay here is short and sweet

Welcome to the board. I am sorry for your loss and look forward to getting to know you.
(I usually post warnings if I make a new thread that discusses my children or sometimes I will post a warning if I respond to a newbies intro so they can brace themselves since they don't "know me" yet. I rarely make new threads though. I usually only respond to current posts. But I am a frequent poster on this board so it would just be excessive to always post a warning every time I posted.)
