Home made mobile

I have a mobile that my mom made that we want to use on our crib. Unfortunately it's just the hanging part. Anyone know if you can buy the arm that it hangs off of and attached to the crib by?

    Can you not just hang it from the ceiling? that's what most people with diy mobiles do.

    i agree...if you can just hang it from the ceiling then so be it. BUT if you can't...say you have to like screw a hook into the ceiling or dont feel like doing so...i would just buy a cheap mobile from the store that has the arm and then attach it that way.

    it's hard to say because we dont know how your homemade mobile looks like. we have a DIY mobile and that's what we did. bought a mobile from babies r us and undid the stuffed animals and stuff..made it our own. :)
