Vacation @ 5 months

Am I crazy?  We have a trip to Punta Cana planned for July, I'll be 5 months pregnant.  We can still go, right?  Or am I crazy?

I asked the doctor, they said it was fine to obviously be cautious of the food I eat and the water I drink.

DH's still debating whether it's a good idea or not.

    I say go! We went to Aruba when I was 7 months pregnant and had an amazing time! I did make sure to get up and walk while on the plane to avoid blood clots, and obviously wasn't able to take part in all the all inclusive fun:) but it was wonderful to have one last trip just with DH before kiddos.

    We just got back from England and I am 5-6 months pregnant.

    The 8 hour flight was fine- and we had our 9 month old with us! I was able to sleep on it mostly. 

    Getting around wears you out a bit, but you get time to relax on a beach and enjoy the sun and time with hubby!

    Go for it!

    I traveled almost weekly until I was eight months pregnant with DD.  If you still feel good at that point (and you probably will), I say to go for it!
