Joovy Caboose stand-on tandem stroller

Anyone have one and have a review for me?

I've read that it's compatible with a Chicco infant seat which is what has peaked my interest.

But I'd love to hear a personal review if someone has one.

DS will be 23 months when LO #2 is born. It'd be nice to have a potential place for him to ride if need be yet not have a huge double stroller either.

Re: Joovy Caboose stand-on tandem stroller

  • We were going to get that, but Cole still naps in the stroller so we needed a double recline, and a recline with the car seat in.  We ended up with a City Select.

However, my single was  a Joovy Kooper.  So as for quality of Joovy, I could NOT have been happier.  If they made a double Kooper, I would have bought it in a heartbeat.

  • We were debating between the Joovy and the Baby Trend Sit-N-Stand. Joovy is a very good brand, and we were going to go with Joovy, but because of pricing and availability, we went with the Baby Trend. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase the Joovy, it's highly recommended by many people.

Do you have a Chicco infant seat? I've read mixed reviews about the Baby Trend. Some older models are compatible with the Chicco I believe!? I'll have to look into that one more too.

I don't have a Chicco car seat, but I have heard that it's compatible with the Baby Trend Sit-N-Stand. I was a little worried about the fit of a different brand of car seat with that stroller, so we went with the Baby Trend car seat too. The nice thing about the Baby Trend is that you don't need any adapters to secure the car seat to the stroller, where with the Joovy, you need a car seat adapter. That, and I am a hands-on person... I like to see and touch things before I buy them, and Baby Depot had the Baby Trend on hand, and it seems that no store in my area carried the Joovy. HTH!

  • I bought one on CL.  I really loved it and I so wanted it to work for us.  But it just didn't.  We took it to Disney and it was a complete battle.  DD was only 8 weeks so she had to be in the carseat in front.  But DS didn't want to sit on the bench seat in the back or stand up on the back.  He wanted to be up front in the real seat.  So eventually, we gave up and I wore the baby so he could ride up front.  Then he tried to nap in it and couldn't get comfy.  It was a disaster.  Finally, on the last day, we gave up and rented him a park stroller and used the joovy for the baby in her carseat.  Total waste.  I listed on it CL as soon as we got home and got back what I paid for it, so I was happy.  It is an awesome stroller if your kid will cooperate.  Lightweight, small footprint, good storage, easy to fold.  Just didn't work for us :-(  We'll be sticking with our BJCM double.  Both kids love love love to ride in it.

  • Oh and yes, we used our Keyfit 30 with it.  Worked great- no complaints there at all.
