If you have a blackberry Curve..

How do you like it? I just bought one yesterday so I am curious to see what people think about it. TIA

Re: If you have a blackberry Curve..

  • I really liked my curve a lot.  I'm using the Storm 2 now, but I miss the actual buttons on the keyboard on the curve.  I found the internet to be a little slow, and the picture quality wasn't the best - but overall it was a good phone!  And the battery actually lasted awhile!

  • Its fantastic for email and texting but that's about it.

If you're looking for a phone with great browsing capabilities and apps, the Curve isn't it.

This. I had one before my Epic and thought it was fantastic. That was upgrading from my Razr though so it was a big step up. :) Now that I have my Epic and DH has an Evo I personally would not get one again. For email, text, and light internet browsing in an emergency (it did come in handy when I was out a few times) it was great.

  • I've been a happy customer of my Curve for the past year & a half.  It doesn't have quite the number of apps or fun things as the iPhone or some Android phones, HOWEVER, it's great for email, text, basic web browsing and maps.  Plus, it's VERY stable and durable... which was important to me because I drop my phone almost weekly.

  • I don't really care for mine.  It's issued through my work though so I don't have much choice.  It's fine for texting and email, but I have issues hearing people on the phone and browsing on it is a PITA.

I agree with this!  I've had my Curve for 3 years, so improvements may have been made, but the internet is text-only and useless, IMO.  Even trying to get Mapquest and a few basic sites is quite annoying.  Really functional only for e-mail and texting...

However, I've never had to replace the battery and it's been dropped LOTS of times (without an extra case as protection) and never had any major issues.  Works great for me!

I just got the Torch and am falling in love. I suggest reading through the 'Help' screen. This BB can do all sorts of things I didn't know about!
