Anyone afraid of clowns?

My DH thinks I'm crazy because I HATE clowns...they just completely freak me out.  I went to a circus when i was little and a clown was doing some tricks with people from the audience...he approached me and I screamed in terror and jumped into my mom's lap.  I had to sleep in my mom's bed for a week after that.

I don't find them one bit funny at all.  The wigs, make up, big fake feet...all just effing creapy to me.

    I definitely find them to be creepy. There's just something odd & unnatural about them. I don't think they're funny or entertaining at all.... just disturbing.

    HATE THEM!!!!!!!  Saw IT when I was like 11 and was afraid of my shower drain for literally a month!

    I'm with you.  I hate clowns.  The one in Poltergeist was freakin terrifying.

    I hate them too!!! When I was like 10 my grandma got me a little porcelin clown for christmas and when I open it I threw it across the room and it hit the wall and broke!

    yeah i dont do clowns either. my kids got invited to a bday party, they had a clown so we had to leave. lol

    we had a pic in our house of a clown and it FREAKED me out.

    I was terrified of them as a child...even now, I find them mildly disturbing.

    Kramer on Seinfeld was also afraid of clowns! ?

    Even the word is making my skin crawl.  IT ruined it for me as well.  I used to work at McDonalds and Ronald showed up one day.  It wasn't pretty.
