I was all set on a PNP until one of my friends told me about a Phil and Ted's traveling crib. She doesn't have one, but saw it while traveling to a wedding. Unfortunately, she didn't know many details except that it packs into a suitcase. I anticipate traveling quite a bit with LO. When I go to FL to visit family it's not a problem, but traveling otherwise I anticipate needing arrangements and the light weight and compactability of the Phil and Teds is alluring. Does anyone know how this compares to a PNP? Anyone recommend it? TIA!

Re: Phil and Ted's portable crib vs PNP?
I love our Traveller too! It's very compact, especially compared to the PNP. I gave our PNP to a single mom to use since I almost exclusively used the Traveller. It does fit in my suitcase easily and is small enough for carry on as well. We`ve also been camping with it (tenting) and it worked great.
Here's the info on the 2011 version and stats on the PNP (just go to specifications).
We got the GoCrib by Guava Family as our PNP. It's small, lightweight, super sturdy and sets up quickly. It's in the same price range as the Phil & Teds. Great reviews on Amazon too.
Personally, I like the GoCrib much better than the Phil & Teds because of how it packs back up into a backpack. I can have it set up in a few minutes and packed back up too.
