My feet hurt. Do yours?

After only 30 mins of standing or walking, my feet are killing me. So glad that I have a job where I can sit down for most of the day. To relieve the pain, I just prop up my heels when I can or massage my feet if they hurt really badly. I am wearing more supportive shoes, too. Any more tips or advice?...or sympathies? ;-)

Re: My feet hurt. Do yours?

  • Yep! After chasing a toddler around all day, my feet and legs are killing me. I just sit down as much as possible with my feet up... not much help there- sorry!

  • Still throbbing from working on them all day...not sure how much longer I'm going to be able to take!

  • Yes! I'm like you, my feet are throbbing after like a half hour of standing/walking. I find myself sitting most of the day because of it. I'm sure the weight gain has something to do with it. I even spent like an hour in DSW the other day looking for something more supportive to help, but nothing was working and got frustrated and left empty handed :(

  • I have to wear dress shoes at work as well, and last week DH spoiled me with some Cole Haan wedges. They have nike air insoles and grips on the bottom, so they are stable (wedge), have traction, and tons of cushion and are just high enough that I don't have to re-hem my pants. I've been wearing them every day this week and I LOVE them. My feet love them. They are amazing. Here is a link to the ones I got. Yes, they are expensive, but if I wear them every day this summer to work and they keep my feet from hurting, they will be worth it:

Oh, and the leather is so soft, its amazing. Even if my feet swell a little bit they are still comfy. I'm in love.

  • My feet hurt after standing up for a bit too. Just walking round a shop or anything, they don?t take long to recover but it?s annoying that I can?t walk about for long. I?ve just been using loooads of moisturisor on them
