Car seats are magical

I had an appointment at my OB for a BP check (since I had to be induced due to high BP, and they ended up putting me on meds for it), so I brought LO. He's been kinda fussy all day, but as soon as I put him in the car seat and we got in the car, he fell asleep. He was fast asleep all during my appointment, so I was able to do a couple errands afterwards and bring him along. We're home now, and he's still fast asleep in his carseat... it's been 2 hours!

I know what I'll be doing next time he gets fussy!

The carseat snaps right into the swing base, so if he's already sleeping in the carseat we can put him right into the swing. Best baby item ever!

    Same thing happened when i took LO to her two doctor's appointments. I think for us, it's not exactly the carseat, but the car ride. But I wouldn't be opposed to taking her for a drive if I ever get desperate!

    The carseat swing frame is GENIOUS!

    I agree completely.  We have the Graco Snugride as well, but we have the Graco Sweet Peace.  It also fits the carseat.

    I had to eat this morning and LO began to cry.  He didn't want the bouncer or swing.  I would have had to hold him if I didn't put him in his car seat.  He is now fast asleep in his car seat.  Love it!
