Peas of Mind Veggie Fries

Has anyone tried these?  I saw them at Target yesterday and I thought they looked interesting.  I'm wondering how the texture is, and whether or not it would make a good finger food at my girls' age.  They're just so picky right now and I'll try just about anything that isn't a puff or mum mum.  LOL

ETA: I should mention that Nanette is allergic to dairy, soy and wheat - so these really caught my eye. They're starting to get into 'sharing' food so I've really got to be careful what I give Maggie, who doesn't have any allergies.

  • Yes, we have tried the broccoli and the carrot ones.  I think they are good and DD used to when she was younger.  She doesn't really care for them now that she decided to be a picky toddler.

The texture really is like baked fries because there is potato in them, too.  They aren't bad at all.

  • DD used to really like goth carrot and broccoli, but she's become a much pickier eater recently and has refused to eat them.  I tried them and I liked the broccoli.  I hate carrots, but DH tried those and liked them.

  • I tried the broccoli ones with DS and it was a no go. I didn't like the taste or the texture either.

What about a sweet potato fries? Alexia Foods and Ore-Ida are two brands I've bought in the past at Target and DS loves them.
