opinions please?

Okay, not sure if this is the right place to ask but I would like opinions please.

Do you think its rude or weird to register for nursery decor? I think registering for the bedding/crib set is common, but what about things like lamps, wall decor, end tables, etc? Useful and good registry items or too demanding for shower guests?

    IMO you can register for anything - just don't always expect it as a gift. Give your shower guests a variety of gifts to choose from, and it should be fine. =)

    I figure whatever you don't get, you'll get that completion coupon and you can buy it yourself at a discount.

    I've seen a lot of people do it, so I don't think it's uncommon.

    IMO, as long as you have a decent price range for people to choose from, it's totally up to you what you put on your list.

    I think it's fine as long as you have a wide variety of items at different price points on your registry, that way people can choose what they want to give.

    Personally I wouldn't register for nursery decor nor would I buy them as a gift.  Then again, it was important to me to have the nursery done well before LO came.
