Were the Lactation Consultants you met with IBCLC's? If not, I strongly recommend meeting with one. An IBCLC has to go through a lot of breastfeeding education, plus several months of supervised consultations. Other types of Lactation Consultants don't have near the amount of education as an IBCLC would.
Also, I believe Gina Baker is employed by Mary Birch. She also teaches all the IBCLC courses at the UCSD extension campus.
What problems are you having? If I know some details I can try to narrow down a list of names for you.
