A weird tightening of the uterus that lasts for about 30 sec or so and then disappears is no big deal, right? No, it wasn't after sex, it happened while I was sitting at my desk, right after I got back from the bathroom.
I'm wearing my bella band today for the first time and had to adjust it a little because it was sitting too low and pressing too much on my uterus. I wonder if that had something to do with it? Otherwise, I feel fine, but it was just really odd.
Any reassurances or thoughts are welcome. Thanks!

They're so weird, right? Thankfully, this wasn't painful, but it was a definite WTH? moment. Everything down there just feels sort of weird today, but more in a things are stretching and pulling way, not a cramping and pain way. Odd.
I hope the painful ones stop for you.
My BH contractions (with my son) were always painful, like my muscles were mad at me if I moved an INCH until it passed. I would also often feel winded by the pain, like I was holding my breath too long. I talked to my midwives about it, and they were adamant that BH contractions were always always painless, it was kind of frustrating. It was obvious they weren't "real" contractions, and that my ute WAS contracting, so now I just expect the BH to be painful.
I'm glad this was brought up because I've been having pains and I wasn't sure if it was RLP or not, but now I've remembered that they might be BH.
