Update: Just trying to find lots of side jobs to make up lost income that unemployment doesn't cover. Baby is really moving quite a bit now.

QOTW: I've never played an April Fools joke on anyone, but there is one that I remember being played on my brothers and I. My Step-dad unscrewed all the light bulbs in the house just enough so they wouldn't work, and then we went out for the day (I guess it was on a weekend that year) We came home after dark and light switch after light switch failed to yield any light. We though at first that we had some burnt out bulbs, and then that the breakers were flipped. It was more confusing than anything, until he told us what he had done.
Update for me is that babe is now head down! I'm relieved. At the moment I'm feeling some pretty intense hic-ups.
QOTW- I didn't do anything for April fools.
I'm meeting with an anesthesiologist tomorrow to discuss if I'm able to get an epidural or not (I had back surgery and rods implanted). I told my midwife I don't think thats necessary but she wants me to know if I have the option either way. I guess if I'm told that I cant get it, then there will be no temptation at least!
Our EDD is May 5, Cinco de Mayo! We're planning on a birth center birth and are team pink!!
No April Fool's jokes for me, but DH's coworker's wife is due in the next couple weeks. She called her DH while he was at work to tell him her water broke, and he believed her and was about to rush out the door. I wish we had that one on video!
QOTW: I didn't play any fools on anyone during April Fools. I know that a lot of FB status were "I'm pregnant" That seems to be the popular one.
Update: Been on bed rest for preterm labor since March 2nd due to pre-term labor and extreme pressure pain.
They found out that I have some skeletal issues. They also saw that my cervix was thinning because LO has already dropped in my pelvis and putting added pressure. My back up OB diagnosed me with sever SPD(Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction)...SPD is basically your body producing too much of the hormone relaxin that relaxes your ligaments, muscles, and bones for childbirth. My body is doing too good of a job of that and causing my pelvis/hips to becoming very unstable. She sent me to physical therapy which found out I was so out of alignment. My right hip is tilting forward and causing my right leg to be 2 inches shorter then my left. The PT told me that it would not get any better and hopefully it won't get any worst. Restrictions: no stairs, no driving, no walking on uneven surfaces, walking/stand to a minimum. Wearing an SI belt to try to keep me in line longer. Right now I am wheelchair bound because of going out of alignment pretty quickly. When I am out of alignment I am in a lot of pain. The OB said the upside of this is that she sees SPD sufferers tend to have an EASIER birth because of their pelvis is like puddy. She also recommended that I not get an epidural because if I put my pelvis/hips in the wrong area during the numbing once the medication wears off I'll be in excruciating pain. So that just firmed my decision up. My midwife and OB said that I most likely will not be able to deliver in the typical back position, but on my hands and knees. Sorry for so long...

Update: Well today is my due date and I feel nothing
I have an appointment with my midwife at 3pm and I am hoping that by then maybe I will have some labor vibes. The phone calls and text messages began the other day, so I am dealing with that, but I really just want to hold my baby girl!
QOTW: I've never pulled off a really good prank on April Fools. I do remember telling my Mum in hightschool that I was pregnant... that didn't go over well.
Update: I had a baby girl, Alice Elinor, on March 25th. We had a natural, home birth. She was born at 3:45pm, weight 8lbs 2oz and was 19.5" long.
QOTW: My somewhat lame April Fools joke was to post on FB that we are naming the baby Harry Peter. Nobody fell for it...
I'm 10 days from my due date and starting to feel pretty crappy now. I feel like my pelvis is splitting apart. Anyone else? Other than that, things are going well.
QOTW: I never do any April Fools Jokes, I'm a terrible liar and super-gullible so I don't really care for pranks. But I do like the little stories that go out on the internet, like Google announcing it was changing their default font to Comic Sans.
Update: My first couple days of GD monitoring went well, the only number that has been looking a little high is the after-breakfast number, so I just need to cut back on carbs in the morning (lots of eggs instead) and I should be under control. This means I can still have my birth center birth! Yay!
Baby shower is this weekend, my mom, sister, ILs, and lots of other people are coming in town. Should be lots of fun.
QOTW: I really don't like or get into April Fool's jokes played on me. Google is usually good for a laugh, of course.

QOTW: Not really into April Fool stuff.
Things are going well... Getting really tired, which is as expected with two toddlers and the pregnancy. Starting to really feel the nesting urge though.
Also, baby is head down - woo hoo!!! Stay that way!!! (My last baby, DD, was breech until 37 weeks and it caused me a lot of anxiety/stress trying to get her to turn.)
No April Fool's jokes here, though DH totally fell for the Google Motion prank on Gmail.
Update: We started our Brio classes two weeks ago and we REALLY like them. The instructor was with Bradley for 11 years and we are only her second Brio class. We're learning a lot and getting more confident about the natural birthing process. 6 more weeks of classes and then we play the waiting game for Little Dude's arrival.
QOTW: I can't think of any good April Fools jokes that have been played on me or any I've played. I like the google ones too, though.
Update: I"ve been diagnosed "borderline" GD so I am following the diet and checking my blood. I can stay with my super natural birth friendly family doctor if I can control it with diet. I'm worried about having to be induced, but I know my doc will do everything she can not to induce me, or induce me as low-intervention as possible.

It's a girl!
I gave birth to Chloe Marcella on March 31 at 10:08am. She was 8 lbs, 15 oz and 20.5 in long. I had an amazing natural birth at the hospital accompanied by my midwife, DH and one nurse. It was a very peaceful and relaxing experience that I'll never forget. (Link in siggy to full birth story.)
QOTW: I never really do anything for April Fool's Day. Especially not this year since we were taking Chloe home! We did think it was kind of funny that her induction date was set for April 1st though. Luckily, she decided to come on her own terms the day before! She did not want to be an April Fool's baby, apparently. I don't blame her.

QOTW: Nope. I've never really played any April Fools. I did see a great one in Seattle a couple years ago. Someone posted all of these signs that were telling people what to do in case we went to red on the threat level chart. They were pretty ridiculous and I kept one for myself.
I'm due May 28th. I plan on having a girl at the hospital using the hypnobirthing method.
