Diaper Rash Question

DD has had a diaper rash all day and the cream doesn't seem to be working. This last time I put it on I felt bumps between her cheeks. Should I try something different... call the Pedi...?

    We GOB on the A&D after every diaper change to help keep the poop from touching his skin. It took several days, but the redness is gone now.

    Balmex I think it's called. We have butt paste too but I haven't used it yet.

    hmm...well i've used A&D,  that stuff works wonders.  starts working same day.  the only thing people may not like about it is the smell.  i've also used the Aveeno Baby brand and the Desitin Creamy.  they all have worked for me. 

    not sure about the Balmex or Butt Paste.  heard of them but not sure about experience.  

    i would just make sure you clean DC at every diaper change and spread the cream on liberally each time until the rash is gone.   and i mean gob it on like the pp said...

    my little baby had what i thought was a diaper rash but it turned out it was a yeast infection.  it looks like a diaper rash but it was bumpy and some of th bumps looked like white heads.  anyway, i guess it is common and the doc told us to use lotramin.  we usually use butt paste by the way and love it.
