Give me some ideas. I have found Back to Nature for chips, cookies and crackers. Looking for some other everyday eating ideas. I am going broke, but worth the effort for all natural eating. Also are there ever any coupons?
For snacks, I keep mostly fruit, veggies and cheese in the house. When I was doing WW, I really loved pretzels (especially these Snyder's ones that I can't find anymore - Honey Oat). Rice cakes - plain ones. Apples and nectarines.
I typically only buy cookies for DH, and even then, they're Fig Newtons. Chips are tortilla chips. Those are typically pretty healthy and salsa's awesome. You can get great chips these days made with flax seeds and whole grains.
I rarely buy processed food for my house. It's no wonder that my monthly food bill is so high (can range from $500-$600). 80% of my cart is usually produce. I like to shop HMart and the Georgia State Farmer's Market for my produce because I can generally get it much cheaper than the Grocery Store.
If I do buy processed items, I avoid high fructose corn syrup. If we're going to get sugar (especially Geneva), I want it to be SUGAR. Trader Joe's is great for lots of good, natural processed items like breakfast bars, pop tarts, pasta, etc.
ETA: And NO, there usually aren't coupons. Don't get me started on how expensive it is to eat well. It's why most of the population in this country is overweight and diabetic. It's cost-prohibitive to eat healthy - especially when you can get a hamburger at McDonalds faster and for $0.60.

If you are willing to get adventurous in the kitchen, there are so many things that you can make for so much cheaper - salsa, pita bread, hummus, crackers, sandwich bread, etc. I have recently seen recips for homemade nutrigrain bars and fig newtons as well. Also, buying in bulk helps. My very favorite tortilla chips are the Food Should Taste Good Multigrain tortilla chips. They have a good bit of organic and all-natural stuff as well. Trader Joe's is good too.

Pita bread is SO EASY and fun to make. If you can make pizza dough, you can do this. It'll keep you hopping though! They only cook for a minute or two.

Maybe if I get more organized I can start making some of these. I am struggling with weight watchers for myself and trying to help the kids get off the sugar! I wish I started this when they were young. It is difficult! They don't get it.
Hummus and whole wheat pita or baby carrots or pretzels - at my publix its over near the deli with the speciality cheeses. Bailey will actually eat this.
Laughing Cow Cheese is another fave of mine with an apple or grapes or pita
String cheese and grapes or apple
Greek yogurt - I like the chobani brand
I pretty much buy ready made snacks. I don't have the energy, time or want to make any of this. I hate cooking and really only do it so we can eat at home. It's definitely not something I enjoy.
Oh forgot the other big one we do, Wholly Guacamole has 100 cal snack packs. They are the perfect size to go with a sandwich or for snack. Bailey loves him some guacamole. It's not spicy and doesn't have a lot of extras which is one reason Bailey will eat it.

I'm so glad someone else feels this way! I thought I was the only one!
Ditto the hummus and guacamole, also instead of chips I use sliced cucumbers. I started eating Paleo back in November. I lost 20 lbs within the first 2 months. I was pretty strict with it except I had creamer in my coffee and wine. I did very little exercise too.
Now I have incorporated some things back into my in moderation but it worked. I also buy lots of apples and peanut butter on anything is always yummy.
If you want to learn more about recipes you can go to paleoplan.com I am not very strict with it currently but will get back on it in a couple of weeks. Basically try not to eat processed foods, no dairy, no grains, no beans, no soy.
I drink almond milk, try to avoid late night eating, make sure I eat breakfast or always have almonds or something with me. Still need to lose another 15lbs and hope that will come off once I get back into my running routine.

Good luck!
I have just started looking into the Paleo Plan because my trainer swears by it. I am just not sure it is for me. I am trying really, really hard to cut back on carbs and processed foods. It is NOT easy!

Our favorite snack is apples with peanut butter on them. I usually buy the Naturally More PB (all natural--very healthy and sold at Publix for 3.99)
We also do raisins, with natural banana chips and fiber one bran cereal (made into a mix)
Hummus (you can make your own from scratch for super cheap)
As a treat, our kids are into the 90 calorie Special K chocolate granola bars (they think they are candy)
Instead of chips, I'll do flat-out crackers.
I'm always looking for high-fiber snacks because of Aerin and her constipation.
