IUI/IVF Graduates?

I hope you don't mind me popping in with a question.  We finally had a successful FET and am ecstatic to be pregnant.  I have been on the infertility train so long and my RE took care of everything so I didn't need a regular OB-Gyn.  We will be graduating from our RE next week after our next ultrasound and I have no clue where to even begin looking for a doctor.  I'm hoping some graduates might have a recommendation.  I'm not looking for special treatment but would like a doctor who understands where I am coming from and the neurotic behavior that may come with.  Embarrassed

Thanks!!

  • A few of my twin friends graduated to Robin Barrett at Good Sam.  She delivers at St. V's too.

  • We were an IUI "grad", so CONGRATS to you!

I go to Dr Laura Williams at Everywoman's Heath at Emmanual Hospital and love her. Several other women on the boards go to her as well. She ha always understood my neurotics! :)

  • Congrats! We were IUI grads too, and Our lil Miracle turns 1 on Sunday!  After We graduated we went to Dr Alfred Ono He has offices at Good Sam and St V's. He and his Nurse Dawn are amazing. Here is there # (503) 229-7353

    Best Wishes and Congrats again

  • And Lara is great.  She delivers a lot of twins, so I know she works with many IUI/IVF grads.  She is thorough without being an alarmist.  For instance, she was completely open to my laboring without drugs, and that's very rare with twins.  The only reason I didn't mention her is that she's likely going to be on maternity leave during July and August.

I keep forgetting about her maternity leave!!!

  • Thank you all so much for your suggestions!  I'm visiting with my RE one more time Wednesday before he releases me so I have these written down to discuss with him.  Thank you!!
