BFing moms - what do you put in sippy cups?

I want to get DS using his sippy more but I don't have enough of a freezer stash to sacrifice BM in them. Β He doesn't seem as excited about water, but I'm hesitant to do juice. Β Just wondering what you ladies seem to try. Β

    She gets a combo of expressed BM and RTF formula at daycare (about 2/3 BM and 1/3 formula) because we've cut out bottles all together.Β  When we're at home together and I nurse her, she just gets water in her sippy.

    Do you fill the entire bottle with BM? Β I don't think DS "gets" the sippy unless it's entirely filled so he can tip it back only sightly and get the milk. Β KWIM?Β

    We will put water or a small amount of juice in the sippy cups.Β  DD also gets her BM in sippy cups at daycare.Β  DD needs to gain weight so the pedi recommended a little bit of juice each day for extra calories.Β

    I do a mixture of water and juice. I know most people don't approve of juice, but she really shows no interest in drinking out of the cup (even after 4 months of getting one at every meal and in between Sad)Β  so I'm really just trying to bribe her.

    Water, she loves it! We give it with every meal and leave one on her play mat in case she gets thirsty. Once we hit the year mark I'll try milk in it.

    BM, WCM, water, or watered down juice.

    I started putting a little WCM in with meals when he was 10.5 months to make sure he was o.k. with it.

    I didn't put BM in the sippy until he really understood the sippy. . . I couldn't stand to think of it beign wasted.

    Just water for now. I haven't tried juice or BM yet.

    really cold water or ice water, when he was sick pedialyte (and then a sometimes after he was better b/c he likes the orange flavor)

    We started with just water. Daycare tried bm in a sippy for us, and she drank it with no problems. I'm planning to start sending her bm in sippy cups now. At home she'll just get water in them with meals.
