Favorite Easter Candy?

Swagbucks had me thinking about Easter Candy (as if I haven't eaten enough already).  I LOVE, LoVe, lOvE, Cadbury Creme Eggs.  Last year I made DH buy me a ton after Easter (so they were on sale) and hoarded them all year so that I could eat them while I was pregnant.  And I had 3 left over when DD was born, brought 2 to the hospital (ate 1) and had the other 2 while I was on maternity leave.  HEAVEN!

So what's your favorite Easter Candy? And are you crazy like me and save it for the rest of the year?

Re: Favorite Easter Candy?

  • Oh my gosh the Palmers chocolate bunnies. I have to avoid the candy aisles at Easter time. I saw one at Target the other night and DH and I split it. They are so good!

  • I absolutely love the Reese's Eggs. I love the regular peanut butter cups but think it taste so much better in egg form- and don't know why:)

  • Cadbury's Mini Eggs, all the way.

The day they became available all year round was the best and worst day of my life.

My favorite.  I also really like the reeses eggs but since they are around (in other shapes) at Halloween and Christmas they dont make the cut for being my favorite holiday candy.

  • Papas eggs....they make them in a TON of flavors but the peanut butter is my favorite. They do not carry them everywhere and I always ship a few to my aunt in AL this time of year!

  • Spice jelly beans, malted milk eggs with pastel candy shell (HAS to have the shell because why you lick the shell, it melts and then you can put it on like lipstick), Cadbury CARAMEL eggs (Sorry, Steph, but the Creme eggs make me gag) and Reece's PB eggs.

My husband is the same way! He loves the eggs and the Trees at Christmas time.  I think it's because theres more peanut butter and less chocolate than regular Reeses.

Cadbury Creme Eggs all the way!  I am so obsessed with these.  The mini eggs that PP refers to are offerred some places year round but aren't anywhere near as good as the full size egg.

You can get the full size eggs year round in the UK!  Not that that does us any good.  LOL  :)  I do the same thing you do - stock up at Easter time and enjoy them year round!  Although my morning sickness was so bad last year, I still have some leftover!  DH loves the Caramel eggs so we stock up on both.  :)

  • Reese's PB eggs are by far the best of all the holiday shapes and are my fave Easter candy!

  • Licorice Jelly Beans (no one else likes them so I don't have to share), Cadburry Creme Eggs, those cheap marshmallow/choc. eggs that come in egg cartons, Peeps.  I only like Easter peeps, I won't buy them the rest of the holidays.

  • Its a tie between Robin's Eggs and Peeps!  Last year when I was pregnant I easily ate 3 bags of Robin's Eggs and 5 packages of Peeps.  I also ONLY buy Peeps during Easter.  They are called PEEPS for a reason!  The other holiday ones are imposters! LOL

Yup; it's sad and amazing all at the same time. I think they were rolled out year round a year or two ago.

  • Cadbury Mini Eggs and I don't think I have ever seen them sold anywhere year round- just at Easter time but that's definitely a good thing for me.

Peeps are a close second to Mini Eggs though.

  • I used to love Peeps when I was a kid.  Now they're too sweet for me.  And I like Whoppers, so Robins Eggs are good too!

Basically I'm a tubby who likes all sorts of candy!  And Easter is the perfect excuse to load up on all this junk!!!  This post was just my excuse to get more ideas of ways to stuff my face with chocolate/candy/marshmellow-y goodness!!! EmbarrassedBig Smile
