LO's name in wood letters? Tree decal? Framed pictures?? A quote?

I have a large blank wall and completely indecisive about what to put on there!! Looking for something fun and cute.

Pictures of your handiwork OR cute ideas would be even great as well! Smile

I love the wooden name thing, but since we are team green, we decided to order the letters to spell "BABY", and will put them on a wood background with a pretty wooden, textured frame. It will all get painted to match the nursery, and will have to be attached to the wall VERY firmly. (We live near Seattle, so anywhere that is "earthquake" zone should probably not have anything heavy above the crib.)

Our nursery is a mild sea creature theme so we got three big seaweed wall decals for behind the crib! I love it!

We're having a girl, so we had a custom curtain (very princessy) made with a box above it so it frames the crib. The curtains in the room were instead of painting or going with a theme, so it's simple, elegant and VERY girly!

we haven't even bothered with a crib this time, but above dd's crib we had a picture that sil painted of a cat holding a dead mouse in its mouth. (the cat looks like our cat)

also a picture that i used to have in my room when i was a kid of three textured woolly sheep.

We have 2 square mirrors in one of the nursery and a silhouette of our dog between them that I made and framed...it looks more like artwork that way

Martha Stewart tissue poms hanging from the ceiling and these 2 canvases that I made myself (hanging from ribbon). I just need to attach the ribbon and hang them.

My mom made a quilt for us to use, but since we can't use it just yet, we hung it on the wall behind the crib. Didn't want to put a picture frame or letters just in case they fell.

My aunt cross-stitched a picture and framed it for our shower gift, which will be hung over the crib. We might hang another picture or two, but we want to keep things simple.

I saved this project for last - I am going to frame different poems/songs/pictures and arrange them above the crib. I will be using beatles/elton john lyrics and shel silverstein poetry. I CAN'T WAIT to put this together
