Trying to Get Pregnant

TTC language rules my life...

I work as a case manager for a company, and everytime we get a report it has listed CM (case manager) by my name, but EVERYTIME I read it as Cervical Mucus of course!  The company i work for is United Cerebral Palsy, so many of our clients have CP, of course I read that as cervical position. Thank you bump for ruining my brain! lol Are there any acronyms that pop up in your lives that make you think of TB??

  • In the waiting to O thread, Salt asked what our first CD was and I read it as 'Cycle Day' and had to take a minute to figure out wtf she was asking! :bonehead:

  • This one trips me up all the time: EOD = End Of Day vs Bump EOD = Every Other Day.  I have to make sure I have that straight sometimes because turning some report in Bump EOD instead of business EOD would be really bad (kind of funny though).

  • Ha ha!  So funny!  Of course, DH is not down with the Bump lingo and I was talking to him about getting AF and checking CM, etc. and he was like "whoa, what the hell are you talking about?" Smile
  • Um....yep.  We work with a company called CM Communications and whenever I hear about them or see their name I giggle and think to myself, what a silly company name.  HA!!!
  • I find my self wanting to use DH when I am having a conversation with people! I was playing book worm the other day and totally tried to submit the letters POAS... I felt so dumb!!!

  • Sometimes with emailing or texting with friends I almost refer to MH as DH, as if they don't know him.

I also came close to calling sex BD- not even big deed, but actually the intitals- to MH the other day.

  • That is funny.  I work with a lot of accroynms too, and I find the TTC ones sneaking into my brain while working too.

  • I ordered a drink at Starbucks the other day, and they marked "CM" on my cup. I was weirded out for a brief second before I realized it stood for "Caramel Macchiato".
