DS is EBF. His stools used to be seedy, yellow to yellow-brown or occasionally green (but never any mucous or blood). Last week he was having all liquid green stools(with the occasional yellow) for about 24 hours. He was peeing/sleeping fine, happy, no fever etc, so pedi said just watch and wait and call if it continues. Well, the next day he was back to having yellow-brown poop, maybe a seed or two noted, but not much. Do babies stop having seedy just go to liquid stuff? Or is this a problem? DS is still happy, peeing, etc. Could this be normal for DS now? Or should I see more soft seedy? What are your LO's doing?
Re: Tell me about your LO's poop.
I think its was around the 2 mo mark when the seedy poops stopped and my DD started having more yellowish liquidy poops that "smell like cake" as my husband put it. Odd, I know. And around the same time she went from a little poop with every feeding to once a day or sometimes every other day (enter blow-outs). Now that we are doing solid food they are like "normal" poop consistency and they now smell like normal poop too
Never thought I would be so in tuned with anyone's pooping habits in my life... ah motherhood!
Edit: Oh and she's EBF also
