OBGYN in the Lancaster area

Good morning ladies!

I'm having a hard time trying to decide on an OBGYN. Any recommendations?

TIA!

Re: OBGYN in the Lancaster area

  • I LOVE Cheri Gard at Eichenlaub and May.  I love Dr. Eichenlaub too, but I see Cheri regularly.

  • I posted this in a post below but I'll update my copy/paste for this post. I go to Drs. Eichenlaub and May and their midwife Cheri Gard and am very happy there. I've dealt mostly with Dr. Eichelnaub and Cheri but did see Dr. May a couple of times. They are so friendly and have great bedside manner. I never feel rushed and they take time to answer any questions that I have. Dr. Eichenlaub actually did a lot of fertility testing with me last year after we were TTC for a year and was great during that time as well. I've had to have some extra tests during this pregnancy (she's doing fine - just likes to keep us on our toes with blood pressure and borderline Pre-e for the last month or so) and they've always been good at explaining things ahead of time, during, and afterwards. The receptionists and nurses are all friendly too! I ended up delivering early via c-section last week.... Early because of the issues I mentioned and section because she was breech. Dr. E was amazing at making sure it was the right thing for me and baby, and even checked with a maternal fetal medicine doctor since I was borderline with health issues who confirmed his approach. The surgery went really well and so many nurses who I saw afterwards in the hospital would comment when they heard who my doctor was how he was the greatest and a lot of them goto him too. His follow up visits in the hospital were great too. Good luck!!
  • I utilize Lancaster Physicians For Women and haven't had any complaints as of this point. What really helped in the decision for me was a place that operated out of the Womens and Babies Hospital. I had never been to any sort of OBGYN until I found out that I was pregnant so I was more or less considering ease of only having to drive to one location to give birth. That would just be me however. :)
