This was after she was cleaned up some...the very first things are mainly on video.
This was immediately after delivery.
This is after they had cleaned him up etc...didn't get to hold him for long before they cleaned him up since I was in pretty bad shape "down there" immediatley following delivery.
My Dr. wouldn't let me move since my platelet count was so low, and my girls were in the NICU, so even though they were born early Tuesday morning, I didn't get to hold them until Wednesday morning.
I didn't even get to see Livi since I was put under general for the c section, so I held her first. I will never forget this moment!

him to me when we got back from the OR :
This is when he was put on my tummy after "shooting out."
And just for fun, in labor with DH helping.
She was probably 5-10 minutes old at this point. We got skin-to-skin right away. I look awful after pushing so hard for an hour and a half. Plus ugly happy cry face... I didn't need the oxygen - it just helped me remember to breath in through my nose and out my mouth. Best reminder ever!
