I've heard that pregnancy does wonders for women's hair but not this girl! Ever since I got my pregnant, my hair is limp and dry and couldn't grow fast enough. Before pregnancy I had no complaints with my hair! Does anyone have any tricks to getting better looking hair? Products or pregnancy approved vitamins? Thanks!

The one I take are by Nature Made, it's a 3 in 1 vitamin. I found them in Target of all places, lol.

What is your base color? Are you using a Color Protect shampoo & conditioner? And yes, Red does fade the fastest, but you can always ask your stylist to add a additive of red, some call it color shots, and other's call it an intensifier..depends on what stylist you ask, lol. And don't be afraid to NOT wash your hair every day. Also, are you on well water or city water? If you are well water, think about a water softner that could really help with your hair.
I agree. My hair is actually pretty long, about boob length, but I stopped using conditioner about a year ago and my hair has changed dramatically. I don't have to wash my hair everyday anymore and it has body like you wouldn't believe.

hmmm...if you have red highlights they shouldnt fade that much then...because red is already in your base color... do you know if they bleach the highlights first and then tone it with red? It's one of those things that I need to see in order to figure out what exactly is going on, but from what you are telling me - it sounds like they need to put an intensifier in the highlights.
If you were in NC I would say come see me at my salon! lol But I'm glad I could help you on here! Please feel free to ask anything hair related, I love what I do and can always talk about hair

Depending if your base color is "virgin" hair; meaning it's all natural and you dont put color on it at all, they shouldn't have to bleach your hair. They should just put the color right on your hair and it should turn. Do you also do root touch ups, to cover grey or anything? That could be a reason why they bleach the high lights first. And, it could also depend on what volume of developer they are using with the bleach. Since your hair is so dark, I'm going to assume they are using 20-40 volume. I would recommend using a 10 volume. But this is all depending on how you want the red high lights to look...if you want them suttle but yet noticable 10 vol is the way to go, if you want them bright and really noticable then 30 volume is definitely the way. So depending on what you want, is the route I would go. So my suggestion is to ask them about the volume, and the intensifier... hopefully this will solve your problem. Just remember tho, if your base color is untouched they shouldn't have to bleach!
