I am going to be at the local one in my area. I wanted to share the site in case any of you can also find an event to go to. Cloth diapers are trying to get into the genius book of world records. check it out it's pretty neat. It's held all over the world.

I'm really excited about this. The closest one to me is an hour and a half away which sucks, but I'm still going to go. I think it's a great way to get cloth diapering in the media!

I agree. I am lucky it's only about 40 mins for us. I even cancelled Easter plans to be able to go

I think we are going to ours... it is about an hour away, but we live in the country and the drive is to the city where all of our family is, so we can certainly make the trip have several purposes.

I wonder if I can get DH to do the bum change? He has his favorite diapers... and I made sure we have some cute black ones!

I want a black diaper for DS!

And just a heads up for people participating, the diaper you are changing your LO into must be available online or in a brick and mortar store, it cannot be handmade, unless it's available in an Etsy shop or the like. Smile

We have a black sweet pea cover and a black pocket from Kawaii (which are hard to find in stock)

I know that my location will provide a diaper if you don't have one (like if you don't CD)... but that may be 'cause they need 25 participants to count, and we have a fairly small "granola" population Big Smile

I have tried to get a couple of my sposie using friends to come and try it just for the day, but they won't. Sad I was hoping to get someone to make the drive with me!

That's great that your location will provide a diaper for those who don't have them. Hopefully that will get more people to attend.

I am the coordinator for the event in my area. I know there are cloth diaper babies around but I have only gotten 5 people signed up. Hopefully the day of more will show so that I can still do my raffles and be counted in the final total.

This sucks for us because we aren't going because its about a 2 hr drive to the nearest one. I tried sponsoring, but its past the deadline

I wish there was a way to log on & do it via webcam or something lol

They will definitely be trying to break their record next Earth Day. There is already talks about what we could improve upon for next year.
