Any sleep experts? Question about waking.

For the last few months DD will wake up exactly 3 hours after I put her down for the night.  She's nowhere near STTN and I'm ok with that for now.  And I don't mind that she wakes up then, but it's always 3 hours.  It's like clockwork.  DH and I will actually watch the clock and know exactly when she will be waking.

Any clue as to why she does this?  Is she just on this pattern now so she will continue it for who knows how long?

    Jason has been doing the exact.same.thing.  Like clockwork 4 nights in a row.  Nurse to sleep at 7, up at 10.  He fusses for a few minutes, makes it clear he's not going back to sleep on his own so I pick him up and he eats for maybe 5 minutes then is back down for the night.

    He's been sleeping 8-6 since he was 12 weeks old.  I've been lucky so I'm not complaining but I'm interested to see what responses you get.
