Had our first very bloody booboo tonight :/

M was running into the kitchen laughing while I was making dinner and he took a hard face plant right onto the floor. He busted his top lip up and got a bloody nose. Poor thing only cried for less than a minute, but boy did it kill me. Sad Felt so bad. And his lip ended opening up again a couple hours later. It didn't seem to phase him a bit! I've never seen so much blood come from him though so it scared me!

  • As poor baby! I'm glad it didn't phase him. But it is scary for us moms.

  • :(  Aww.  L is only 7 months and he has had uh...3-4 bloody lips.  [:/]  He likes to head butt the floor or just face plant trying to crawl.   :P

  • OMG, DD did a face plant last night (slippery socks on the hardwood) and busted her lip open, too.  It was bloody!!  And boy was she upset.

    Poor little ones!

  • Ahh!  T did a face plant the other night too!  He was running and fell into dh's huge desk chair, face first. He has a mustard smear bruise on his forehead and he cut his lip open pretty bad- inside and out. He's not phased by it at all. He cried then went on to eat a popcicle (because that's the only way we could get cold on it), pizza and ice cream. Then over the weekend he was eating salty chips without an issue.  Amazes me!

  • Eeek!  Scary!  We haven't been that bloody yet, but Mr. Outdoorsy fell in the driveway twice on Monday and has nice scabs on his elbow and knee to remind him!
