BOY!!! And most importantly, looks great!

My NT bloodwork results put the baby at 1:10,000 risk for both disorders, which is "the best you can get for my age" (34) according to the u/s tech. Uh, thank you? Backhanded compliment...

Anyway, we're thrilled. Either way we would have been, but it was great to see the proud, excited look on DH's face when the u/s tech told us, "there's the money shot; that's not a third leg!"

Now to just break the news to DD, who was insistent on wanting a girl... Tongue Tied

I mentioned to the dr. the BH I started having last week. As she had the u/s wand on me and I was saying it, I contracted again, and she showed me on the monitor. Pretty crazy timing. Anyway, she said even though it's early, in my situation it seems okay--as least for now. Just to keep an eye on it (and gave me details).

So excited and happy to know! Now to start some shopping (hehe...)... Stick out tongue

Congrats and welcome to team blue! DD was also insistent that we give her a sister, but she's been totally fine with the idea of a brother and talks about him all the time.
