Some good news!!!!
Some of you may remember DH was going to be tested for Huntington's disease and then decided not to go thru with the test. Well really it's a 2 part test, blood work and an MRI. He didn't take the blood test but he did get the MRI on his brain before he decided not to go thru with the test.
Today he got the results of the MRI and it showed NO atrophy in the area of the brain that Huntington's affects!!!!!! He still needs the blood test to confirm he doesn't carry the genetic mutation that will eventually cause atrophy in the brain. BUT it's a great big relief to know he's got no symptoms so far and that much better a chance he doesn't have Huntington's!!!!
