Update on DS

I haven't been on the boards for over a week, we just got back from visiting my family in NY. I spent last night in the hospital for suspected food poisoning, it's been a long couple of days. DS did great on the plane, thanks for all of the advice! We were able to take his carseat on the plane.

We had DS's 4 month appointment today, he's a big boy at 19lbs and 12oz, 27 inches long. The BEST news about the appointment is that we no longer have to see the plastic surgeon (scheduled for April 13th) because DS's plagiocephaly has gotten significantly better! I am so thankful that all of the hard work and physical therapy has paid off and helmet therapy will not be necessary. Just wanted to share this great news and thank everyone for your support!

    Great news about the plagio!! I'm so happy for you guys! And that is AWFUL about the food poisoning-- do you know what it was that made you sick? Hope you feel better soon!

    Thanks! I'm pretty sure it was V8 juice that had been in the fridge for a few weeks and I didn't realize. The doctor said it could have also been a 24 hour bug that I caught on the plane, but I have a feeling it was the juice. Either way, I don't think I can ever drink V8 juice again!

    Oh my, Em! A night in the hospital sounds like no fun at all, especially after such a fun trip. What a total bummer. 

    I'm so glad to hear that M is doing so well. Although, I can't say that I'm surprised, considering you (and J) are such attentive and loving parents.
