DS has started refusing his bottle. He acts fine, doesn't seem to be in pain/teething, etc., but will push the bottle away after drinking only a couple oz. He usually gets 4 - 6oz bottles (formula) a day. I can usually get him to drink the full bottle by sneaking in sips or tricking him, but it usually takes an hour. I work though, so during the day MIL gives him a bottle (or 2) and she's totally struggling. I'm really worried about him not getting enough oz of formula. FWIW - he eats 3 meals of solids every day. The amount hasn't increased at all, and he never had a problem drinking the bottles plus eating solids, so I don't think that has anything to do with it. We have his 9 month pedi appt tomorrow so I'll be asking the doc then but in the mean time. Any advice or suggestions?

Thanks! I actually did something similar a few weeks ago. He was getting 5-5 oz bottles, and then he actually did seem full and spit up a bunch. We started the 4 - 6 oz bottles and he did very well for a few weeks up until now. Maybe I can try 3 bottles instead. Thanks for the suggestion.
My LO is doing the same thing. He eats 4 times a day. 8oz in the morning and 8 oz in the evening and a total of about 6-8 oz for his other 2 feedings. I was worried about it but then I read that it is normal for them to not want as much fomula now. I think as they start eating solids, they lose interest in the formula because it is so bland.
