How do you deal with the swelling?

I noticed last night that my legs have started swelling a bit.  By morning the swelling had gone down, but now it is back worse than yesterday.  I have always had low blood pressure at my appointments so I am not thinking this is pre-e, but rather normal pregnancy swelling.

How are you ladies dealing with the bloat?  Do you have special socks, diet, beverage, that helps?  With 7 weeks left, I want to keep this in check as much as possible.

  • I elevate them as much as possible throughout the day and in the evenings.

    This- I have a box with a memory foam pillow on top of it under my desk.  When I get home and when I can, I try to sit with a few pillows under my legs on the couch.

    Plus I drink a ton of water and avoid sodium and processed food.

  • Elevation... really.  And ice packs work too.

  • I don't have swelling as much as I did last time.  I mostly notice it on a hot day, or when I had a salty meal the day before.  Water, putting your feet up, staying cool and watching the salt intake helps!
