RP: Dresses for wedding that allow nursing ?

RP from 0-3: Anyone seen anything they like or know any good stores? My BIL is getting married in 2 weeks so I will be nursing through the weekend. I'd love to have a dress but if I have to wear pants and a nice blouse, thats fine too. Also, if am not a big fan of the halter top looking style, but thats all that I see out there - anything else even available?  It will be about 60 degrees so sundresses and summer stuff are probably out =(

  Thanks

  • What about something with a V-neck?  I have a nightgown with a V-neck that allows easy access for nursing.  Seems like a dress with a V-neck would work the same way.

  • I have a wedding to go to at the end of May. I have been looking on Etsy for a dress as they seem to have some inexpensive nice dresses. I'm thinking of going with a strapless dress with a cardigan or shrug overtop. This will allow for easy feeding with the cardigan covering my bra straps and providing some coverage.

  • You are obviously a skilled second time mom. :-) I am a FTM and basically have to take off my shirt when I breastfeed or I end up with milk somewhere on my outfit or my LO's outfit. I would be way to scared to BF in a nice dress.

I agree with the PP about a V neck - I have seen some really nice dresses made in jersey material lately, it seems like that would be easy to manuver.
