Changing location?

Under my avatar it says I live in Connecticut.  I don't anymore; I've moved since I was last active on the Nest (before the Bump existed), which was more than three years ago.  I can't for the life of me figure out how to change my location.  Can anyone help?  Thanks!

    No one knows.  Mine doesn't even show up... but I've asked regs and no one knows how to change it.  The site is kind of crappily designed :/

    Yeah, I think one of the big reasons I took a break was that the site design drove me bonkers.  Which it still does.  Thank you for answering!  It's frustrating that I can't change it, but at least I know it's not because I'm dense that I can't figure out how.

    On the top right hand corner it says

    Log Out, My Account, Make this my Homepage

    Click on my account and you can change your address from there.
    It isn't designed badly, you just don't know how to use it.

    Thanks for your reply.  I've actually done that (multiple times, as if doing it more than once makes a difference), but the place I have set as my current address is not the one that shows up under my posts.  It knows my address is in NY state but still shows in my posts that I live in Connecticut.  I notice you don't have a location set in your posts, which could be for privacy reasons and I respect that, but if you think I don't know what I'm doing you might try what you're suggesting and see if you can put a location there either.

    Also, no matter what the answer to my question is, I do think the site is poorly designed from an aesthetic standpoint.  The page is really cluttered, the font is teeny (of course I could zoom in, but it's annoying), and board posts are crammed into a column half the width of the screen.  Whatever, it's a free time waster, so I can take it or leave it.  I'm just surprised that in the eight years since I joined the Knot, the design hasn't really improved.  (I had a ton of posts, but I don't think there was a post count back when I was active, so I look like a noob.  But you can see from my "Joined on" date that I'm a Knot geezer.)

    I check back on this board all of the time hoping for an answer to this question (I've posted it before, too).  I can't even find anywhere where "Northwest Florida" was typed for that to appear....it isn't what I have in my address for "My Account" either.

    I still have not received a reply on the mod board, but will post it once I get one. It was discussed on TTGP a while back and some of the ladies thought that TB fills it out automatically from your IP address. Of course I have no idea if that has any truth to it.

    Hmm, I sort of doubt that, if only because location isn't in a consistent form (city/state, just state, etc.).  I haven't logged in from a Connecticut ISP in at least eight months, and probably much longer.  I am pretty sure when I was on the Nest before I filled in Connecticut as my location in my bio.  The format of the bios has changed since then, but maybe TB grabbed location info from my old bio (it could still be storing that info even though I can't access it now).  Of course I probably entered my location somewhere else too and just don't remember.
