Had our weekly Dr appointment.

Here is what the Dr. said .. Yay  one more week down .. and  Next week he will give Melanie an injection on Monday and Tue its a steroid to make sure ( JUST IN CASE) the babies are fully developed to protect them from brain bleed and help their lungs develop in case they come earlier than anticipated.  The injections are pretty standard for Women pregnant with twins.  It also helps with pre term labor.

Melanie is also being perscribed a new medication that will help slow down contractions she is apparently having. Through out your pregnancy you uterus contracts to practice for the birth but since she has a cerclage and an incompetent cervix he wants to slow it down and Baby A is right there putting pressure on things ( not sure if he/she is really putting pressure on but its head is RIGHT THERE! Other than that he is happy with how things are going her fluid in sac levels are great and we will do baby measurements next week .. they are moving a ton kicking and twirling around despite the small space.  He is happy how she is progressing and the lack of it so to speak - 

She is still on bedrest working on getting her a wheelchair so she can venture out just a tad bit. Melanie feels great and loves LOVES being pregnant despite these little hiccups.

On the Home front still working on closing the deal - its a big pain in the butt and we have has some minor bumps on that road with the seller and the loan and the appraisal its all working out though we think. Hopefully we can still close by the end of April.

    Yeah!!! I am so happy to hear things are going great on the baby front.

    Home buying is such a stressful, time-consuming process. I hope it works out for you and you get the home of your dreams.

    yay for one more week down! I hope you get everything figured out quickly with the house. I'm glad Melanie loves being pregnant even with the bedrest and everything else.
