rec your nighttime solution

i've tried a few things and am still getting a lot of leakage! what works for you?

    The only thing that guarantees us no leaks is a fitted with wool cover. We have used a pocket diaper without leaks but we've also had leaks with them too. We just stick to fitteds and wool now at night and haven't had any problems/leaks.

    twinkie tush with either wool or a thirsties cover.  I actually forgot a cover last night and she still woke up with dry sheets and pjs.

    We've been using prefolds with wool.  DS is in red-edge GMD prefolds right now.  I'll put a large hemp insert in (folded over in front so that it fits, and to add extra absorbency where he pees) and cover that with a fleece liner to help keep him dry.  Then I'll snappi it and put wool shorties or longies over the top.  It's pretty bulky, but so far no leaks.  I change him once when he wakes up around 4 or 5 AM to eat, and then again around 8 or 9 (he goes to bed at 9 PM).  He's pretty wet at both of those times. 

    Does your LO still wake to eat at night?  When DS was still waking every 3 hours to eat, I'd change him every 3 hours.  It seems like a lot, but when they're eating more during the night they're also peeing more.

    B4 or TT fitted with wool soakers & fleece jammies over top.

    DD1 born 5/24/10.

    DD2 born 5/14/13.

    Missed M/C at 9 wks July 2015.

    My kid pees a ton at night - we were using the same as you (2 AFFFs plus the BG mf insert and still getting leaks). We switched to fitteds and wool. I use either a GM good.night or TT with an AFFF trifolded in (makes for a super bulky butt but oh well) under a WCW interlock soaker. Sometimes his pjs are a tad damp but its fine - sheets are dry, the rest of him is dry....
