I'm planning on adding DS to my dental coverage now that he's got a mouth full of choppers. But I hadn't thought about adding him to my vision coverage (separate from regular health care). What do y'all do?
we have ds on dental but not vision.....both DH and I have worn glasses since elem school so we will add him at some point but not yet. Our dental insurance covers more than just teeth so we have had him on that since the beginning (oral surgery because of an accident, fall etc)
Luckily our vision plan is part of medical, so I haven't had to think about it. I don't think kids are usually in need of glasses until they're *at least* 5, and I don't imagine we'll take DD in to an optometrist to get her eyes checked for at least a few years. I'd wait to add him to the vision plan.
