Mrs.H_08 (re: nursing tanks)

I love my nursing tanks, but I hear you with trying to find support. I suggest you look at these...

It is just the tube/cover part of a tank, that attaches to your nursing bra, essentially turning your nursing bra into a nursing tank. Then you will have the support you are looking for in a bra, plus the tummy coverage of a tank.

  • Oh, that's interesting!  Thanks for the idea.  I'll look into it!

  • Those are such a good idea! Whatever you decide on Lexi - try to find something that you can undo the snap one-handed. I liked the Target nursing tanks because of that. I had a couple of bras that had good snaps too and a couple that definitely did not. Those were awful when you have a crying baby in one hand and you need it to help the other undo the snap. Ugh. Just 'food for thought'...
  • Thanks, K!  Good thing to keep in mind!

  • And that you can rehook with one hand if possible!  although not as necessary as unhooking one handed.  :)

Lexi - Goddess makes good "bigger" nursing bras.

  • Thanks, Jill!  I started looking up some of these brands last night.  So, I'll add that one.

I have some of these and really, really like them.  You can attach them to the cup where it connects to the hook, so it will work just like any other nursing tank.  They're actually more comfortable IMO than other nursing tanks, and they fit me better.  I think it would be pretty easy to make your own, too.  If you want to look at mine, let me know.
