Easter bunny pic recs

Know of any good "mall bunnies" or other costume bunnies? I'd prefer to see a dressed up human rather than live bunnies, because of my mild, non-extremist PETA tendencies, even though I know they are a little creepier.

  • Bellevue Square has one, but it scares the frack out of me. It looks like a fuzzy serial killer.

  • Well I think you saw my girls' pic on FB.  That was the Supermall bunny.  Normally I try to avoid the SM because something about the feel of that place bothers me (it's so dark).  But they were one of the few places with a bunny last weekend and we wanted to get it done.  There was nobody else there so they spent a lot of time trying to get both girls to smile.  The amount those places charge for a single 5x7 photo kills me though ($18 after tax).

  • Whatever you do, don't go to Alderwood.  That one is super duper creepy (IMO).

This. We took Jackson on Sunday - I think he sh*t his pants when he saw the bunny. I can't believe we spent $18.

  • FYI - We did the Yuen Lui and I think they turned out awesome. The bunnies they use are from the Humane Society - and all the promotions show links to adoptable bunnies to help promote "responsible" (ie not seasonal) bunny adoption. So, seems well-meaning? They were super gentle with the bunny and it got a break and treat after our session....

I'm still going through them but here's a teaser!

This exactly.  Our location had 2 bunnies, and they rotated using them. They also didn't let the kids handle them, acouple little pets with the bunny person right outside camera shot.  They also had us in and out in about 5 mintues; all set up just plop in kids, bunny in basket and we were done.

  • I don't really have any recs but the good thing about the supermall is nobody ever goes there so you won't be waiting in line! I might take the kiddos down this week ...we should meet up! I also just saw on mamapedia a deal for yuen lui!

  • Based on what StellaZ said and because I don't like creepy bunnies we are taking C to Yuen Lui next week.  If they weren't supporting rescue and such I would be doing the same as you, though.
